This document has been produced jointly by the NHS Breast Screening Programme (NHSBSP) and the Royal College of Pathologists(RCPath). It represents the third edition of the NHSBSP guidelines for pathology reporting in breast cancer screening and the second edition of the RCPath's minimum data set for breast cancer histopathology .It gives guidance and recommendations on all aspects of pathology examination of breast lesions and is relevant to both screen detected and symptomatic disease.
