Guidelines on the Content of Letters and Leaflets
NHSCSP Publication No. 27 - ISBN 978 1 84463 035 6 These guidelines are an update of NHSCSP Publication No 6, published in 1997. They are based on a systematic review undertaken by staff at the Cancer Research UK Primary Care Education Research Group. They summarise current NHSCSP guidance about sending written information to women about cervical screening, and the information that the research evidence suggests should be included in letters and leaflets. Copies of NHS Cancer Screening Programme publications are normally free of charge for staff working within the NHS, the voluntary sector and for healthcare students.
