Managing a Screening Programme

This document is based on the proceedings of a management workshop held in April 1989 for managers of the first 20 NHS breast screening programmes in the United Kingdom. The workshop itself concentrated on determining the main tasks and responsibilities of programme managers and exploring the main issues and problems facing programme managers. This report is intended for use as a source document on programme management.

The contents have been compiled as a series of self contained papers which can be used together or separately.
