NHSCSP Publication No 10 - ISBN 1 87 1997 68 2 - published Apr 1999 These guidelines were produced by a joint working party of the Royal College of Pathologists and the NHSCSP. They provide guidance on the reporting of cervical biopsies arising as a consequence of the cervical screening programme, advice on the classification of cervical carcinoma and pre-cancer, and make recommendations on the correlation of histology with cytological findings and on histopathology audit.
